Dr. Thomas D'Amico is a Chiropractor in Davie, Florida. He graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1986 and has been practicing chiropractic for the past 30 years. Dr. D'Amico is a member of the International Pediatric Chiropractic association and is certified in Pediatrics and Pregnancy. Dr. D'Amico is involved in many local charities as well as local chiropractic organizations. He has received many awards, including Chiropractor of the year.

PRENATAL CARE
Structural changes in the body during pregnancy bring different types of pain. Chiropractors establish pelvic balance and alignment, not only to reduce the mother/baby discomfort but also to allow the baby to be in the best position for delivery. Dr.D'Amico is certified by ICPA and in Webster Technique to reduce intra-uterine constraint.

Chiropractic care is essential for children from the day they are born. Dr.Thomas D'Amico is a Board Certified Pediatric Chiropractor. We will treat your children for overall health, brain development, strong immunity, sleep issues, bed wetting, Colic & IBS, earaches, allergies, asthma, good posture, and behavior issues/ADHD.

EXAMINATION SCANS
The first part of this examination process involves reading spinal heat differential from one level of the spine to another, as well as from one side of the spine to the other. Heat is a by-product of circulation, which is controlled by the autonomic nervous system. From this we can see how subluxation may be affecting these functions of your nervous system. In the second part of this examination we scan the surface of your spinal area for electrical impulses. This helps measure the affect of subluxation on the motor-nerve system and the affect subluxations may be having on your muscles.
REPORT OF FINDINGS
On day 2, Dr.D'Amico will explain the findings from your consultation and examination. He will show your X-rays to you and review them in detail. Some of the questions that Dr.D'Amico will answer for you will be: What is causing your health problem? How can chiropractic care help you? What type of treatment will be necessary? How long will it take to correct your problem? Dr.D'Amico then will make recommendations for the best resolution to restore your health. After the report you will receive your chiropractic first adjustment.
CONSULTATION
The first visit in our office consists of the following procedures: consultation, taking X-rays and examination scans. During the consultation with Dr. D'Amico you can discuss health issues you are having with Dr.D'Amico, including medical history, daily activities and daily routine - to establish preliminary picture of your health and lifestyle.
X-RAYS
Performing spinal adjustment without looking at X-rays is quite dangerous and can pose a great risk to your health. X-rays show what direction your bone is moving, the misalignments (or subluxations), and abnormality or pathology with your spine. Based on that information the Doctor can determine the type of adjustments you need for treatment.

INSURANCE INFORMATION
Chiropractic services are provided and billed by D'Amico Family Chiropractic. We participate in major health insurance plans in the region. If your plan is not listed, we will be unable to file a claim on your behalf. Please be aware that with any health plans, there may be deductibles and copayments for which you could be responsible. If you do not have insurance or your insurance does not cover chiropractic services, you can be seen as a self-pay patient.
